Who this is for

Every holiday decision is easier when you know what you stand for.

You are raising a family

  • The gift list grows every year and you are not sure what it teaches.
  • Your kids ask money questions and you want answers you and your partner agree on.
  • You want your children to grow up knowing what your family values as well as what it owns.

Your family is already grown

  • The holidays bring grown children, partners and grandchildren to one table.
  • Questions about gifts, help with money and who hosts come back every year.
  • You want what you leave to be a blessing and not a burden.

In sixty minutes

Three things you leave with.

01

What your family values

Discover the values, habits and priorities that are unique to your family. Julia walks you through it one step at a time, and you write as you go.

02

Your first family constitution

Write it during the session. It is a living document that you keep adding to, and it guides every major money and family decision you make together.

03

Put it to work this holiday

Apply your constitution to a real holiday decision or situation coming up this season, so you see it work before the family arrives.

Julia also shares examples from other families, and the last part of the hour is live Q&A.

Julia Myers, PharmD, MBA

Meet Julia

She did this with her own family first.

01Julia spent fifteen years as a pharmacist and leader, building specialty pharmacy services and a residency program inside a university health system, until a medical event in 2022 ended her clinical career.

02She founded Generational Wisdom® to help families prepare the next generation for money, rather than only leave money to them. She is a mother of five, and her family's constitution is the first thing they hang in a new home.

03She is a TEDx speaker, her work has been featured in Business Insider, and she gave the closing keynote at LegacyRx 2026 in October.

How the evening runs

You do the work during the hour.

Julia leads and Dr. Kyle asks the questions a family would, so it feels more like a conversation than a webinar. Keep your camera on if you are comfortable. Bring a pen, your partner if you have one, and one holiday decision you have been putting off.

  1. WelcomeDr. Kyle opens the evening and introduces Julia.
  2. Why a family constitutionWhat it is, what it does for a family, and how it sits beside a will or a trust.
  3. Your values, habits and prioritiesYou work through them with Julia and write down the ones that are yours.
  4. Your first draftYou turn them into the first written version of your family constitution.
  5. Your holiday decisionYou test it on a real decision coming up this season.
  6. Other families and your questionsExamples from families Julia has worked with, then live Q&A.

Before the holidays

Write yours before the family arrives.

A trust does control the money. A constitution controls the meaning. Julia Myers, at LegacyRx 2026

A will and a trust decide where the money goes. A family constitution writes down why, and what you hope it does for the people you love. One evening is enough to start yours.

Before you ask

Four quick answers.

Do I need to bring my partner?

No. Come on your own or as a couple. If you have a partner, Julia suggests you agree on your values together first and then bring in the kids, so coming together saves a step.

Do I need children, or a lot of money?

No. A family constitution is about what you stand for rather than how much you have. It works for a couple with no children yet and for grandparents alike.

Is a family constitution a legal document?

No. It does not replace a will, a trust or advice from your attorney. It sits beside them and says what they are for.

Do I have to turn my camera on?

No. It helps, because this is a working session and the conversation is part of it, but take part in whatever way is comfortable for you.

This workshop is educational and is not legal, tax, or financial advice. A family constitution is not a legal document and does not replace a will, a trust, or advice from your own attorney or advisor about your circumstances.
